Please welcome Danialle Dupree and Sara Moore to the Sun Yoga Family!

Danialle is an ERYT-200 teacher certified in Hatha Yoga & Vinyasa Flow for all levels. Having come to the mat in her early teens, seeking peace within her own body, she knew immediately that she wanted to share yoga's benefits with others. She is passionate about the many ways yoga can help people regain or maintain mobility in their bodies and minds. In addition to her 200 hour certification she's earned certifications in Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and is pursuing training in Rocket Vinyasa Yoga.

Sara is native to North Carolina and has been teaching yoga since 2014. She is certified in Baptiste Power Vinyasa, Prenatal Yoga, and Restorative Yoga. She has also completed an online 12-week in depth comprehensive Anatomy Mentorship at Yoga Anatomy Acadamy. Her experience as a Registered Dietitian in Outpatient Dialysis has carried over into yoga. She is fascinated with human anatomy and physiology and how it relates to yoga asana and pranayama. Sara offers a well-rounded, breath-centered yoga practice that not only relieves tension and calms the mind, but also encourages joint stability while improving balance, strength, and flexibility within one’s functional range of motion. She relates well to others with physical limitations and strives to make yoga accessible to most fitness levels, including those who are new to yoga.

Self Love Yoga Challenge! February 1st - February 28th

You can keep the momentum going from your New Year intention and practice self love by exploring various types of yoga classes over the 28 days of February. Modeled after bingo, completed cards will be entered into drawings to win some prizes including a 10 classes package, a 5 classes package, and free classes. A prize will be received for all "Bingos". Next Stress Relief Yoga Series with Amy Andersen, Wednesday's, February 13th to March 20th, 6-7:15 PM

Take a break in the middle of your week to stretch, strengthen, balance, and unwind. Find balance, physically and mentally through yoga postures both seated and standing. Bring focus to the breath to relax and be at peace. Let go of stress, whether from everyday life, inactivity, or hyper-activity, or illness. This class is suitable for all levels, bodies, experiences, and backgrounds. When you sign up for the Stress Relief Yoga Series you are making a commitment to your self care and well being. Non Stress Relief Yoga Series students can join using regular class packages. $60 for the series sign up in advance online or in the studio.

Restorative Yoga Nidra with Willow Marcotte, Sunday, February 17th, 4-5:15 PM

Practice releasing and letting go of stress with the relaxing approach of Restorative Yoga. Allow the mind to surrender while nourishing the body with gentle stretches using the support of bolsters and props. This class will focus on allowing the body to release in seated and reclined positions while connecting to the breath and finding a deeper release with a guided Yoga Nidra meditation. You will leave this practice feeling refreshed and renewed. No yoga experience required. Regular class packages apply or $15 single drop in. Sign up in advance online or in the studio.
